The Parkerford Womens Club "runs" the event with Ridge Fire Company members, and their families, assisting.
The annual Ridge Fire Company was held 12/11/2011 from 2-4 PM. The Parkerford Womens Club "runs" the event planning activities, refreshments, supplying "manpower", and advertising. The Ridge Fire Company supplies money, the fire hall, and "manpower".
There were craft activities, games, fire safety information. The Ridge Fire Company members had a table giving away fire prevention materials and selling T & Sweat Shirts and Reflective Address Signs. Several familes took a tour of the engine bays looking at and sitting in the fire trucks. Looking at firefighter gear, etc.There were about 160 people, with 80+ kids (off all ages) and everyone who came had a good time.
And of course, there was a visit from Santa!!
Many of these pictures have had their "Brightness" and "Contrast" adjusted to make it easier to see what is going on.
The size, maximum 600 pixels wide, and resolution has been changed on all of these pictures to speed loading and allow 2 side by side on a standard screen.
