New {concept} First Out {PUC} Engine - Picture #1
A member "applied" an approximation of our paint scheme over an existing Pierce Engine

This truck replaces our current first out engine, 62-2. 62-2 replaces 62-1, which WAS our second out engine.
After a visit to the plant 7/10/2008 and 7/11/2008 final, pre manufacture, drawings were made up.
This truck will be a PUC {Pump Under Cab} Engine Pierce Arrow XT 6-man cab with 10” raised roof.
There will be 19" extended front bumper with two hose trays and 2 1/2" piping
The ladders will be mounted on a electric Pierce Ladder Gantry
{The Ladder Gantry allows the ladders to be stored OVER the truck body and lowered to the rear when needed.}
Caterpillar C13, 485HP engine with Jake Brake, Side Roll Protection Package, PUC Rescue/Pumper Body
The pump will be a 1500 Gallon Per Minuite, with 750 Gallons of water, and 50 Gallons foam. All plumbing Stainless Steel, Husky 12 Foam System, Hercules CAFS system.
Whelen LED warning light package, Q2B & Whelen Electronic sirens
900-Watt Visor Light, Five (5) Recessed 900 watt lights, Will-Burt Night Scan Tower, 10KW Harrison hydraulic generator, Cord Reel with 200’ of 10/4 cable with junction box, and Red and White Chevron Striping on rear for better visibility.
