Ridge Fire Company - Fire House Tour 3/1/2010
The local Girl Scout troop 42036 came to vist the fire house. There they learned about what to do when the smoke detector goes off. They got to see one of their leaders as a fully geared firefighter. They were able to see the trucks up close and personal, sitting in several of the trucks. We were also able to let the scouts "flow" water (spray the hose), so they had some fun.
There were 21 scouts and we always invite parents and siblings making 34 people in all. Eight firefighters were on hand to assist.
Many of these pictures have had their "Brightness" and "Contrast" adjusted to make it easier to see what is going on.
