Engine 62-1 is a 1971 Mack pumper. It is equipped with a 1000 Gallon Per Minute pump and a 1000 gallon water tank. As this is an older truck Ridge Fire Company members have retrofitted air packs and spare air bottles as well as new fire fighting equipment. One of the new tools is a "Cutters Edge" saw. This is a saw used for cutting through roofs, shingles and all, to ventilate a building. This is just one of the Ridge Fire Company pumpers.
