To help Local Fire/Police/EMS

Chester County Hero Fund

This is the only official Chester County organization for donating to help Fire/Police/EMS in the county.

It is a qualified charity under IRC section 501(c)(3).

Many of the board members are Fire/Police/EMS.

99% of the funds raised are used to benefit of fallen first responders and/or their families!!

The nine firefighters who died in the Charleston, South Carolina fire Tuesday June 19th reminds us how TRULY dangerous firefighting really is!!
At times like this we need to pause and give thanks to ALL firefighters, paid and volunteer, who keep our communities safe, sometimes at the loss of their own lives!!
Please keep these and ALL firefighters in your thoughts and prayers!

Albert Ritschard

It is with deepest regret that Ridge Fire Company announces the passing of Albert Ritschard. He died Saturday August 20th 2005 at age 80. Albert Ritschard was a life member of the Ridge Fire Company with over 50 years of service. He served 15 of those years as the Fire Company President. Albert was active both as a Fire Fighter and a Fire Policeman. Funeral services were on Wednesday August 24th 2005. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made to the Ridge Fire Company, 480 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475 or to Brownback’s United Church of Christ, 640 Ridge Road, Spring City, PA 19475.
Thanks to Norco and Kimberton Fire Companies for providing their tower {ladder} trucks to form an Arch. We carried Albert under the Arch on 62-1, for his "last alarm", as the Fire House siren sounded in the distance, as a tribute to his years of service.
