Brush Fire With Exposure In South Coventry

Ridge Fire Company, December 01

Just after 4:30pm , Stations 62, 64 (Norco), and MICU 84-2 (Goodwill) were dispatched to the 1300 block of New Philadelphia Road for a possible garage fire. Chief 62 and Battalion 62 arrived to find brush along with a wood pile on fire in close proximity to the garage. Rainy Friday Keeps Ridge Volunteers Busy

Ridge Fire Company, November 22

Just before 9:00am , Station 62 along with MICU 83-4 (Goodwill) were dispatched to the 600 block of Seven Stars Road for an accident with entrapment, vehicle overturned. Lieutenant 62 arrived and confirmed the report. Rescue 62 responded and crews were able to open the door and assist the vehicle occupant out. At approximately 11:30am, Engine 62-5 was dispatched to assist Station 61 (Kimberton) on a house fire on the 900 block of Pike Springs Road. Engine 62-5 and assisted with manpower. Dual Rollover Accidents on Ellis Woods Road

Ridge Fire Company, November 20

At approximately 5:30pm, Station 62 along with Medic 325 (Friendship EMS) were dispatched to the area of Route 23 and Ellis Woods Road for an accident with entrapment. Lieutenant 62 arrived to report a three vehicle accident with one vehicle on its roof with the occupant still inside. The occupant was quickly removed. Just before 8:30pm , Station 62 along with MICU 84-2 and Medic 329-1 were dispatched to the area of Route 100 and Pughtown Road for an accident with entrapment. Just before 2pm Brush and Engine 62-5 were requested to assist Station 73 on a working brush fire off of the 300 Block of Nantmeal Rd in East Nantmeal Twp. Brush 62 arrived and worked with Brush 48 (Glen Moore) on a secontion of brush that had extended from the orginal field and brush fire that Brush 73 had been bringing under control. Just before 1pm Station 62 was dispatched for Brush 62 to assist Station 61 (Kimberton) on the 1100 block of Pike Springs Road (Route 113) with a brush fire along the roadway spreading up a hillside.
