Just before 5:30pm, Station 62 along with Medic 325-6(Friendship EMS) were dispatched to Route 23 and Ellis Woods Road in East Vincent Township for an auto accident. Deputy 62 arrived to find a two vehicle accident. Just before 5:30pm Station 62 along with Medic 93 (Tower Health ) and Ambulance 89-1 (Elverson-Honey Brook EMS) were dispatched to the 1600 block of Ridge Road in Warwick Twp for an accident with entrapment. Just before 10am, Station 62 along with Medic 329-6 (Goodwill EMS) were dispatched to the 1200 block of Ridge Road for an accident. Shortly after dispatch the assignment was upgraded to an accident with entrapment involving a box truck and a SUV. Lieutenant 62 arrived and confirmed heavy entrapment. The Ridge Fire Co. extend its deepest condolences to the family of Officer Shane Seiber and the entire Philadelphia Police Department. Officer Seiber was killed in the line of duty Saturday morning.

On Saturday September 12th ,2026 the members of Ridge Fire Company held our 21st annual community day. Everyone enjoyed hotdogs, soft pretzels and water ice. This morning crews took Engine 62-1 and Engine 62-2 over to the East Vincent Township Building along with crews from Station 61 (Kimberton), Station 63 (Liberty), Friendship EMS (Royersford) and East Vincent Township Police to commemorate the 25th Anniversary of the 9/11 Attacks.

This afternoon Engine 62-1 and Engine 62-2 along with Engine 69-1 (Pottstown) gathered at Hares Hill Brewery to welcome and cheer on the 9/11 Remembrance Run . This run begins at the Flight 93 Memorial in Shanksville Pa, goes to the Pentagon and finishes up at Ground Zero in New York City .
