Overnight House Fire Assist to North Coventry

On Wednesday, March 15th at 1:37am Station 62 was alerted to assist Station 64 (Norco) on a working house fire in the area of W. Cedarville Rd and Catfish Ln in North Coventry Twp. Dep 64 arrived shortly after the upgrade confirming a 2-story farmhouse with fire throughout the dwelling. Just before 4:30AM, Station 62, Station 64(Norco), Montgomery County Tower 51 (Limerick) and Medic 329 (Goodwill EMS) were dispatched to the 400 block of Crest Lane for a building fire reported to be a second floor balcony spreading to the roof. Just before 8AM, Station 62 along with Medic 329 (Goodwill EMS) were called to the area of Route 100 and Pughtown Road for an auto accident. Chief and Assistant 62 arrived reporting a two vehicle accident. Rescue 62 arrived along with Medic 329 arrived and evaluated the occupants of both vehicles while controlling hazards along the roadway. Trees and Wires down on Cadmus Road

Just after 12PM as a cold front was moving through the area accompanied by strong winds and heavy rain, Station 62 was called to the 700 block of Cadmus Road for a report of a tree that came down taking the electrical wires down with it. Just after 2pm, Station 62 was dispatched to assist Station 61 (Kimberton Fire Company) as the operated on a large brush fire in the area of the 1500 block of Hollow Road.
