Just before 4am , Station 62 was dispatched to the 300 block of Crest Road for an possible electrical fire inside. 62 Chief Officers along with Engine 62-1 and Rescue 62 arrived and determined the source of the fire to be a battery pack. Just before 8pm , Station 62, Station 69 (Twin Valley), Engine 73-5, and Ambulance 189-1 (Elverson Honey Brook EMS) were dispatched to the 1600 block of Old Ridge Road for smoke in the dwelling. Just before 5pm , Station 69 was dispatched to the 200 block of Laurel Road for a brush fire in the State Game Lands. Upon arrival Battalion 69A discovered an active brush fire burning up a steep hill. Brush 62 was requested to assist initially and Utility 62 was requested soon after to assist with additional manpower. Rainy Monday Keeps Crews Busy

Ridge Fire Company, October 13

Just before 6am , Station 62 along with MICU 83-2 (Friendship EMS of Royersford) were dispatched to the 600 block of West Seven Stars Road for an accident with entrapment. Upon arrival , crews found a single vehicle accident with no entrapment or injuries. Crews remained on scene for about 30 minutes to assist with traffic control and removing the vehicle.

Just after 9am , Station 62 along with MICU 84-2 (Goodwill EMS) were dispatched to the 2900 block of Flowing Springs Road for a possible accident with entrapment. Chief 62 arrived to find a single vehicle overturned with no entrapment. Rescue 62 arrived and assisted with cleanup and hazard control. Just after 10pm, Station 62, Station 64 (Norco), and MICU 84-2 (Goodwill EMS) were dispatched to the 1800 block of Pottstown Pike (Route 100) for a possible garage fire. 62 chief officers responded and began to survey the area.
