Just after 1:30PM, Station 62 was called to the 600 block of Porters Mill Road for a brush fire. Chief 62 arrived along with Assistant 62 reporting a brush fire that had extended from a fire pit towards a fence. Engine 62-2 along with Brush 62 arrived and began extinguishing the fire. Engine 62-5 made the response and supplied water to both Engine 62-2 and Brush 62. DCNR units also assisted with extinguishment and overhaul. Units operated on this fire for approximately one hour.

Just before 6:30PM Station 62 was called for ATV 62 to assist Station 69 (Twin Valley) and DCNR (Dept. of Conservation and Natural Resources) in the wooded area off of the 3000 block of St. Peters Road. Units from Station 69 were operating on a brush fire off of the trail. Utility 62 along with ATV 62 responded and assisted Station 69 units with extinguishment and overhaul for just over an hour.
