Just after 4PM Station 62 was dispatched to the unit block of Larkspur Lane for a fire type unknown. Assistant 62 arrived and surveyed the area , and located a 1 acre area of brush on fire in the 1100 block of Ebelhare Road. Chief 62 requested Engine 64-5 (Norco) and Field 51 (Limerick) to assist. Brush 62 and Engine 62-2 arrived and began fire attack . Engine 62-5 supplied the units operating on the scene . Utility 62-1 responded and assisted with extensive overhaul. The fire was brought under control within 30 minutes . Units operated on the scene for approximately 1 hour .
