On Tuesday, August 24, 2021 at 13:33hrs Chester County Communications alerted Ridge (62) and Friendship Ambulance of Royersford's Spring City Station (MICU 83) for an auto accident at the intersection of Rt. 23 and Ellis Woods Rd in East Vincent Twp. Chief 62 arrived on scene shortly followed by Rescue 62 and MICU 83-4 of a two vehicle accident with a door needing to be removed to allow for better patient access and removal of the vehicle. Rescue Personnel removed the driver's door and assisted EMS with removing the patient. A second EMS unit from Trappe EMS of Phoenixville (MICU 85) was requested to evaluate a patient from the second vehicle. Both EMS units transported their patients to area hospitals with all units going available with the road reopened at 14:03hrs.
