Heavy rains brought in several calls for the Ridge Volunteers. The first call for service came just after 11am for an accident at Ellis Woods Road and Bethel Church Road. At 2:45pm, units responded to the 100 block of Chestnut Lane for wires. PECO was notified and responded. At 3:20pm units responded to the 1100 block of Ridge Road for an auto accident. Just as the evening rush hour was concluding, units were called to the 200 block of Linfield Road for an accident on the Linfield Bridge. The last call for service came out just before 11:00pm for an auto accident on the 3100 block of Schuylkill Road. Chief 62 arrived , and surveyed for an accident. The assignment was made unfounded shortly after. Station 62 returned back into service shortly after.
