Just before 2:30pm, Station 62 was dispatched to the 200 block of Sawmill Road for a brush fire. Assistant 62 arrived and confirmed a brush fire in the field approximately 30x30 feet and spreading. Engine 62-2 and Brush 62 arrived and began extinguishment. Engine 62-5 and Utility 62-1 assisted with overhaul. ATV62 stood by on the scene. The fire was quickly brought under control. Crews were in service for approximately 40 minutes before returning.
