Just after 4:30pm , Stations 62, 64 (Norco), and MICU 84-2 (Goodwill) were dispatched to the 1300 block of New Philadelphia Road for a possible garage fire. Chief 62 and Battalion 62 arrived to find brush along with a wood pile on fire in close proximity to the garage. Rescue 62 arrived and quickly went in service with the bumper line and a booster line knocking down the fire. Engine 64-5 supplied Rescue 62 with water. The crew of Engine 62-5 assisted with overhaul. The fire was brought under control in about 15 minutes and crews were in service for about an hour.
