Just after 6:30pm , Stations 62, 64 (Norco), and MICU 84-2 (Goodwill EMS) were dispatched to the 100 block of Trinley Street for a chimney fire. Deputy 62 and Assistant 62 arrived to find a chimney fire that was out upon arrival. Engine 62-1 arrived and removed the contents from the fire place while the crew of Tower 64 and Engine 64-2 went to the roof to ensure there was no extension. The crew of Rescue 62 utilized a thermal imaging camera while Engine 62-5 stood by the hydrant. 62 Fire Police detoured traffic in the area to ensure that crews working could operate safely. Crews were in service for about 30 minutes before returning to the station.
