This evening to beat the heat for our weekly drill , members took Engine 62-1, Engine 62-5, Rescue 62, and Brush 62 down to Cooks Glen Road to practice our drafting skills. When drafting , we utilize a local water source to supply the engine and this is used in an area that may not be equipped with fire hydrants. While drafting several of our members who are currently training on different apparatus were able to sharpen their pumping skills.
