Just after 10am, on Saturday, Station 64 (Norco) and Brush 62 were dispatched to the 900 block of Sheep Hill Rd in North Coventry for a brush fire. Brush 62 responded and assisted with fire suppression and overhaul of a mulch pile for approximately 1 hour before returning to the station.

This morning before 8:30am, crews were again dispatched to the same location for a brush fire that had reignited. Shortly after dispatch for the Brush Truck, Chief 64 requested Engine 62-2 and Engine 62-5 to assist. Chief 64 arrived to find a large mulch/debris pile on fire. Engine 62-2 arrived and began fire suppression along with Brush 62. Engine 62-5 supplied water along with Engine 64-5. An engine from Pottstown along with tankers Kimberton and Twin Valley kept the fire scene supplied with water. Crews placed the fire under control after about 2 hours and continued overhauling and hitting hot spots. Crews from Station 62 were in service for approximately 4 hours before returning to the station.
