| Rainy Monday Keeps Crews Busy |

| Just before 6am , Station 62 along with MICU 83-2 (Friendship EMS of Royersford) were dispatched to the 600 block of West Seven Stars Road for an accident with entrapment. Upon arrival , crews found a single vehicle accident with no entrapment or injuries. Crews remained on scene for about 30 minutes to assist with traffic control and removing the vehicle. At approximately 9:30am , Engine 62-1 and Rescue 62 responded to a gas leak outside on the 100 block of Fricks Locks Road. Construction crews in a he area had struck a gas line. PECO quickly arrived on the scene and secured the leak. The last call of the day came in on the 500 block of Ridge Road for smoke in the building. 62 Chief Officers arrived on scene and determined the source of the smoke to be from a heater backfire. Engine 62-1 ventilated the building. Crews were back in station at 11:30pm. |
