Just before 5pm , Station 69 was dispatched to the 200 block of Laurel Road for a brush fire in the State Game Lands. Upon arrival Battalion 69A discovered an active brush fire burning up a steep hill. Brush 62 was requested to assist initially and Utility 62 was requested soon after to assist with additional manpower. Crews assisted with fire suppression and overhaul. 62 crews were in service for just over an hour before returning to the station.
