| Just after 1pm, Station 62, Montgomery County Station 51 (Limerick) for the Engine and Ladder, and MICU 84-2 (Goodwill EMS) were dispatched to the 1100 block of Kulp Road for a shed fire. Deputy 62 arrived on scene with a fully involved shed with an exposure. Engine 62-2 arrived and placed two lines in service for fire suppression. Engine 62-5 arrived and established a water supply to Engine 62-2. Crews from Engine 62-5, 62-1 and Utility 62-1 assisted fire suppression and overhaul. The fire was quickly brought under control. The assignment was then held to the units on location. Montgomery County Engine 51 was redirected to Station 62 to cover the area while crews operated on scene. As units began clearing the scene, Montgomery County Engine 51 was dispatched to the 600 block of Kulp Road for trees and wires. Engine 51 and Engine 62-1 made the response along with 62 Fire Police. Upon arrival crews found a tree limb down on the lines and confirmed PECO had been notified before clearing. Engine 62-2 remained on scene while the Chester County Fire Marshals conducted their investigation. Crews returned back to the station after approximately two hours. |
