Chester County Station 62 Fire Police Assist in Downtown Pottstown

Yesterday Station 62 Fire Police were called to assist in downtown Pottstown, closing down High Street westbound at Hanover Street. Ridge Fire Police assisted with many other neighboring Fire Police while crews worked a block down on High Street, west of Hanover Street on an underground fire and gas leak of a nearby service line. Ridge Fire Police were on the scene approximately 3 1/2 hours.
