| Just after 5:30pm, Station 62 along with other assisting companies were dispatched to the 600 block of West Schuylkill Road in Station 64’s area for an apartment fire. First arriving 64 units reported a working fire in an upper floor apartment, which they quickly brought under control. Engines 62-1, 62-2, 62-5 and Utility 62-1 made the response and assisted crews on the roof checking for extension and overhaul. Crew operated on the scene for about an hour.
