Just after 8am this morning Station 62 along with MICU 83-4 and Intermediate 83-1(Royersford EMS) were dispatched to the area of Bridge Street and Stony Run Road for a two vehicle accident involving a school bus. Deputy 62 arrived on the scene and confirmed heavy entrapment in the first vehicle.Rescue 62 and Engine 62-1 arrived and began patient extrication. The occupant was extricated and transported to a local hospital with serious injuries. EMS evaluated the occupants of the school bus prior to them being moved to a second school bus. Fire police from Station 62 along with Station 63 (Liberty Fire Company), and Montgomery County Station 51 (Limerick Fire Dept) assisted police with traffic control for several hours while East Vincent Police completed their investigation.
