At 21:05hrs on Wednesday, September 7th Chester County Communications alerted Station 62 (Ridge Fire Co) and MICU 83 (Friendship EMS) for an auto accident with reported entrapment on Reitnour Rd by Keen Rd in East Vincent Twp. Chief 62 and MICU 83-4 went responded and were advised of one vehicle overturned with one subject possibly trapped and gray smoke from the vehicle. Deputy 62 and PD arrived on scene shortly after confirming one vehicle overturned and the occupant had self-extricated from the vehicle. MICU 83-4 arrived and provided patient care while Rescue 62 and Engine 62-1 arrived and provided scene lighting and cleanup of the debris from the roadway. Traffic 62 and Utility 62 shut down Reitnour road between W. Bridge St and Kolb Rd. The single patient was transported via MICU 83-4 to an area hospital. Chief 62 made all units available and Fire Police opened the road at 21:43hrs.
