Just after 12:30am, Station 62 along with Ambulance 87-1 (Uwchlan Ambulance Corps) were dispatched to the area of Route 100 and Pughtown Road. Chief 62 arrived to find a two vehicle accident. Rescue 62 arrived, controlled hazards and removed debris from the roadway until the vehicles were towed. Traffic 62 controlled the flow of traffic allowing for members to safely operated on the highway. The occupants of the vehicles were evaluated by the crew of ambulance 87-1. This marks the first call for Station 62 and was the first accident recorded in Chester County in 2023.
