Just before 4am, Station 62 was dispatched to the 100 block of Poplar Street in Spring City to assist Station 63 (Liberty Fire Company) on a working building fire with entrapment. The occupants of the home were removed and treated by EMS. Chief 62 and Engine 62-1 made the response. While on location Engine 62-1 hooked up to the hydrant at Main Street and Poplar Street and supplied water to Ladder 63. The crew of Engine 62-1 stood by on the scene to assist. Crews from Station 62 operated for a little over an hour before returning to the station. At approximately 3:20pm, Station 62 was dispatched along with MICU 84 (Goodwill EMS)to the area of Linfield Road and Wells Road for an accident with injuries. Upon arrival, Deputy 62 had a tractor trailer that had struck the wall just prior to the bridge. The driver did not sustain injuries. Chief 62 requested Station 51 (Limerick Fire Dept) for their fire police unit to shut down the Montgomery County side of the bridge. Fire Police from both Ridge and Station 51 (Limerick) along with the crews from Rescue 62 and Utility 62 operated for approximately 30 minutes detouring traffic until the tractor trailer could be removed by Wunderlich's Towing.

Units: Chief 62, Deputy 62, Assistant 62, Battalion 62, Rescue 62, Traffic 62, and 62 Fire Police
