On Friday, January 20th, 2023, Engine 62-2 along with Assistant 62 responded to the 1700 block of Ridge Road in Warwick Township to establish a landing zone for Penn Star 1, who was requested to assist Ambulance 89-1 (Elverson-Honey Brook EMS), to fly a critically injured subject to a a local trauma center. The crew of Engine 62-2 assisted with creating a landing zone in a horse pasture close by to the scene. The crew of Penn Star 1 landed, packaged and transported to the patient. Engine 62-2 was in service for approximately one hour.
