Just after 5:30pm , Station 62 along with Tower 61(Kimberton) and MICU 83 (Royersford) were dispatched for a chimney fire on the 200 block of Ridge Road. Crews arrived with smoke in the attic and an fire contained to the wood stove and chimney. Due to the house being a 1 story rancher Tower 61 was not needed and was released to respond to their own call that had come in. 62 Crews laddered the building , extinguished the fire in the chimney and wood burning stove and removed the remaining smoke from the building. Fire Police assisted onsite with directing traffic around the fire apparatus along Rt 23. Crews were in service for about 30 minutes.
