We are proud to announce the purchase of a Pierce Arrow XT Tanker/Pumper. This truck will replace our 2001 American LaFrance Tanker/Pumper . This unit includes a Cummins X15 605hp Engine, an enclosed pump compartment with a Waterous 2,000 GPM pump, 3500-gallon water tank, 5.00” front bumper discharge preconnected to 75’ of 5.00” hose, two (2) 2.00” speedlays with 250’ of 1.75” hose, one (1) 2.50” preconnect off the rear, three (3) 10” dump valves. The vehicle is equipped with Whelen warning and Fire Tech HiViz Scene Lights. This unit is now the fourth Pierce fire apparatus purchased, making Ridge Fire Company an all Pierce fleet. We look forward to sharing the progress of this truck as it is being built so stay tuned for future updates. We expect it to be constructed and delivered in about two years .
