Just after 8am , Engine 62-1 along with other assisting units was dispatched to the 100 block of Starr Street to assist Station 65 (Phoenixville) on a working building fire. Engine 62-1 arrived and reported to staging shortly before being released by command to cover Station 65’s area. Crews returned back to the station at approximately 9:30.

Around 1:30pm , Station 62 was called to the 200 block of Nottingham Drive for a brush fire. Deputy 62 arrived to find a wind drive brush fire in the rear of the property. Brush 62 and Engine 62-2 arrived and began fire suppression. Engine 62-1 arrived and supplied Brush 62 and Engine 62-2 while the crew assisted with overhaul. 62 Fire Police controlled traffic around the scene. Crews quickly extinguished the fire and returned to the station approximately 30 minutes later.
